Rachel Mortell, Senior Account Executive

Rachel is an honours graduate in politics and international relations from Aberdeen University who joined Working Word in April 2009.

Her experience in media includes several successful work placements with the firm during her studies and a placement with BBC Wales' current affairs team.

After graduating she worked in advertising sales at National Magazine Company in London, working on flagship titles including Good Housekeeping and Cosmopolitan magazines.

Rachel works for a diverse client base which ranges from public sector, training, HR, finance and social housing clients. She also worked on the successful S4C digital switchover campaign which won the national CIPR Excellence Award 2010 for ‘Best Integrated Communications'.

A word in your ear

Rachel's scariest moment was scaling a 300ft ravine across a slippery disused sewage pipe in deepest China back in 2007. All in the name of panda conservation.
