Phil Nutting - Account Manager
With over seven years experience working as a journalist, Phil offers invaluable insights into the workings of the broadcast media.
After graduating from Luton University with a degree in Media Practices he went onto achieve an NCTJ certificate in newspaper journalism, before cutting his teeth as a reporter on Wales’ largest weekly selling newspaper. Later, he worked in the broadcast media on a wide variety of national TV and radio news programmes in Wales and in London. Since joining Working Word, Phil has worked on both public and private sector clients, covered B2B and B2C portfolios, and enjoys achieving regular positive coverage for his clients in the national and regional print, trade and broadcast media.
A Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), Phil also holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in PR accredited by the CIPR.
A word in your ear: Phil loves sports cars, used to fly aeroplanes and gliders as an air cadet, plays guitar, and once interviewed Girls Aloud and Craig David for Newsround.
