Liz Ashton - Account Manager
Liz ventured into PR in 2007 following an early career as a journalist working on several weekly newspapers in south Wales.
During her time as a roving reporter, Liz acquired an extensive list of contacts in a variety of sectors, and is extremely conversant with the workings of the Welsh and national media.
Liz gained a degree in Welsh and English Literature at Cardiff University followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism at De Montfort University in Leicester.
Liz has an in-depth knowledge of the education sector particularly, with her client portfolio including DCELLS (Welsh Assembly Government Department of Children, Education, Lifelong Learning and Skills), NIACE Dysgu Cymru and work-based training provider ACT.
A word in your ear: Superfit Liz is an avid runner and is Vice-Captain of Les Croupiers Running Club, Wales’ largest running club. Liz enjoys setting herself new challenges and is currently learning to speak German and Italian.
