Businesses urged to be more “two faced” about networking

The first ever series of dedicated networking training events in Wales is being launched on the 16 February 2010 at the St. David's Hotel in Cardiff Bay. The "Two Faced Networking" series - aimed at helping businesses make the most of their networking activity - is the brainchild of Bernie Jackson, a qualified Attorney-at-Law with 21 years' experience in law and business.

Gwent training and HR company looks 4ward to bright 2010

A Gwent training and outsourced human resources consultancy has secured a number of prestigious contracts with major international firms only months after launching. Llantarnam-based 4ward Development, established in April, has grown its turnover to £1.8m after picking up contracts with medical laser manufacturer Magstim and the Port Talbot Corus steel plant.

University of Glamorgan ‘spin-out' attracts high profile investment

Energy management specialist RUMM (Remote Utility Monitoring and Management) has appointed international industrialist, Eric.J.Lewis, as its new Group Chairman. The appointment of Mr Lewis, who recently stood down as Chief Executive of international engineering company Doncasters Group Ltd - where he trebled turnover to over £900m - is a major boost for Caerphilly-based RUMM.
