                        01/08/11

New business club opens the door to next generation

Fiftyone3, the coordinates of south east Wales and the name of the new club, launched at Chepstow races and was attended by around 40 people representing sectors including legal, accounting, media and manufacturing.

The new club is a joint venture between leading accountancy firm, UHY Peacheys, PR and communications agency, Working Word, web and design agency, Bluegg and HSBC bank.

The four partners will sponsor the new project and will also contribute their professional services including website design, creating marketing collateral and media relations.

The new network will meet once every two months with the next five dates already planned at the Ku Ku club at the Park Plaza in Cardiff’s city centre.

Chairman of Fiftyone3 and corporate finance manager at UHY Peacheys, Cennydd Thomas said: “The new business club was set up to fill the gap in the market for networking groups that provided a more informal and relaxed alternative to the traditional business clubs. We appreciate that people under 35 may be at very different stages in their career and that’s why it’s important to form lasting relationships which could lead to valuable business opportunities now or in the future.

“Some people find face to face networking an intimating prospect but it is an essential business development tool. It’s vital in terms of boosting a company’s profile and during these difficult economic times, networking can lead to much valued business referrals. Fiftyone3 is a fresh new approach to networking and provides a platform for the next generation of business leaders to interact.”

The next events will be held at the Ku Ku Club in Cardiff on:
