HR and training firm strikes gold and appoints new director
Outsourced training and HR consultancy 4ward Development is continuing its expansion with the addition of a well-respected member of the Welsh business community to its board of directors.
Simon Goldsworthy, 47, has joined the Llantarnam-based firm as a director and will oversee the planned growth of its business services division.
Simon has 25 years experience in global HR management and his impressive portfolio includes HR Director roles at Technicolor, Grundig and Hitachi, with his most recent post as managing partner at Midas People Management. His areas of expertise include employee relations, recruitment, business leadership and management development.
Simon’s appointment will strengthen the management team and help 4ward Development capitalise on growth opportunities in a variety of sectors. He will further strengthen the company, which currently has a turnover of £5 million, and spearhead plans for ambitious expansion.

Aside from his role as director at 4ward Development, Simon is a trustee of local charity Garnwen Trust, which works with youth projects in Bridgend.
