Account manager Liz set to reign in Spain at cross country championships
The 29-year-old will be part of a five-strong Les Croupiers Running Club team that will be representing Great Britain in Bilbao.
They will be taking on top runners from across the continent in the prestigious European Clubs Cross Country Championships on Sunday.
The quintet sealed their seats on the flight to northern Spain by winning a trial in Liverpool in November and now will look to reap the rewards of hours of hard graft on the track and trails of Cardiff.
"We're really excited to have made it this far but now we want to do ourselves, and our country, proud in the race," said Liz.
"The other runners are sure to be fast but we have all worked so hard that we will be giving it our all to finish as high up the leaderboard as we can."
Liz's teammates for the 6.5km challenge are Katie Beecher, Libby O'Duffy, Jen Salter and Maria Zubizarreta.
